No. 3 Women's Tennis Blanks Johnson

ATHENS, Tenn.- The women's tennis team swept their way to a win on Tuesday. The third-ranked Lady Bulldogs won all seven points in their Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match against the Johnson University Lady Royals.

TWU took all the doubles matches in winning the doubles point. Ana Serrano and Olivia Alcala won the No. 1 doubles 6-1, Ivet Prat and Ruslana Kovalenko won the No. 2 doubles 6-2 and Laia Berne and Honoka Tsuji won the No. 3 doubles 6-1.

The singles points came from Kovalenko in the No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-3), Alcala in the No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-1), Prat in the No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-1) Serrano in the No. 4 singles (6-0, 6-0), Margarita Tatur in the No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-0) and Paula Cigarran in the No. 6 singles (7-5, 6-2).

The win moved the team's record to 10-1 overall.
