No. 2 Men's Tennis Takes Six of Seven from NCAA Division II Foe

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- The men's tennis team added another win to their record on Monday. The Bulldogs beat the University of Indianapolis, an oppponent out of the NCAA Division II ranks, 6-1 at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

TWU took the doubles point by winning the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Agustin Gaia and Mario Monclus won the second doubles match 6-3 and Serafin Zund and Nicolas Cortes Campos took the No. 3 doubles 6-3.

The Bulldogs won all but the third singles match. Lucas Grana won the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-2, Zund took the No. 2 singles match 6-2, 7-6 [4], and Santiago Russo won the No. 4 singles match 7-5, 6-2. The remaining wins were by Asier Pascual (6-3, 6-2) in the No. 5 singles and Rocco Mariani (6-1, 6-4) in the No. 6 singles. 

The win moved the team's record to 10-2 overall.
