ROME, Ga.- The third-ranked men's tennis team opened play at the 2026 ITA NAIA Men's Team Indoor Championships on Friday. Playing as the No. 4 seed in the field, the Bulldogs swept the No. 5 seed Lindsey Wilson University 4-0 to advance to the semifinals. 

Lucas Perez, Lucas Grana, Maceo Simpson, and Agustin Gaia got the scoring started for the Bulldogs, winning their doubles match. The first duo won the No. 1 doubles 6-2 while the latter duo won the No. 3 doubles 6-4. 

The remainder of the points to advance TWU came from the No. 2 singles, No. 4 singles, and No. 6 singles. Serafin Zund won the No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3, David Leon took the No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-3, and Santiago Russo won the No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-2 in the sweep.

The win moved the Bulldogs (4-1) to the semifinals of the event where they will face No. 1 seed Keiser University.
