Grana Takes Home AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the first edition of the weekly awards for men's tennis on Monday. Lucas Grana took home the award, winning the AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week award. 

Grana helped the team win two conference matches this week against Montreat College and Milligan University, playing in the No. 1 singles and doubles spot. The match against Montreat, the sophomore won the No. 1 singles match 7-5, 6-4 and the doubles match 6-1. Grana followed with a 6-1, 6-0 win in singles and a 7-6 [8-6] win in doubles against Milligan. 

This is the first weekly award for Grana. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 9.
