Thompson Takes Home Second AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- For the second time this season, Megan Thompson was named the WinWon Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week. The conference office announced the award on Monday.

The junior took on the award based on her performance against Milligan University. The White House, Tenn., native had 36 digs in the match, a career-high. Thompson had a 9.00 dig per set average. 

This is the second weekly award for Thompson this season. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, Oct. 7.
