Women's Indoor Track and Field Perform Strong at Life U Super Bowl Meet

MARIETTA, Ga.- The women's indoor track and field saw 11 top ten finishes on Saturday. The team competed at the Life U Super Bowl Indoor/Outdoor Polar Meet.

A time of 26.67 seconds placed Grace Clemens in the top ten of the 200m Dash at eighth place. 

Sariyah Cox finished seventh in the 400m Race, running the track in a time of 1:02.43. 

In the 600m Race, Jakara Tobler and Victoria Verran finished back-to-back. Tobler ran a time of 1:50.68 for eighth place and Verran ran a time of 2:01.38 for ninth place.

Anna-Lise Kirton was seventh in the Mile Race, running a time of 8:14.55 while a time of 12:00.28 placed Kaelyn Pluta in fifth place in the 3000m Race.

Ann Moses finished sixth overall in the 60m Hurdles by running a time of 10.26 seconds.

TWU had two top ten finishers in the Long Jump. Payton Mannis was fifth with a mark of 4.96m while Lydia Weaver was eighth with a mark of 4.25m.

Marks of 9.90m and 9.67m in the Triple Jump gave Sheridan Cruz (fifth) and Mannis (sixth) back-to-back finishes on the leaderboard.

Cruz- 28.07, 17th

Cox- 28.30, 19th

Moses- 28.76, 22nd

Lisa Schoen- 29.34, 25th

400m:

Verran- 1:10.63, 16th

800m:

Kirton- 3:35.68, 13th

Shot Put:

Schoen- 8.14m, 13th

Tennessee Wesleyan will return to the track on Friday and Saturday at the Centre Indoor Invite.
