Women's Outdoor Track and Field Records Third-Place Finish at Emory Dooley Elite Meet
ATLANTA, Ga.- The women's outdoor track and field team made a return trip to Atlanta for the Emory Dooley Elite Meet on Saturday. The team saw 10 individuals finish in the top ten of their events at the meet.
Grace Clemens, Jakara Tobler, Molly Woodby, Kaelyn Pluta, Samantha DeGrace, Ann Moses, Lisa Schoen, Chloe Dailey, Mckenna Hubbard, and the 4x100m Relay Team all finished in the top ten of their events.
A time of 25.88 placed Clemens in 10th place in the 200m Dash while Tobler was 10th in the 400m Race with a time of 1:01.14.
In the 3000m Race, Woodby was third with a time of 11:36.03 and a time of 12:10.08 placed Pluta sixth.
A time of 19:44.97 in the 5000m Race placed Molly Woodby in second place in the event.
Three runners in the 100m Hurdles finished in the top ten. DeGrace led the way with a time of 14.55 for second place, Moses was fifth with a time of 16.57 and Schoen was seventh with a time of 17.00.
Dailey was third in the High Jump with a mark of 1.45m.
The Long Jump saw three top-ten finishers also. DeGrace got her second second-place finish with a jump of 5.47m. Clemens jumped 5.02m for seventh place and Hubbard leaped 4.61m for 10th place.
Schoen also recorded top-ten finishes in the Shot Put (12.35m, 2nd) Discus (37.87m, 6th), and Javelin (33.58m, 2nd).
Clemens, Moses, Hubbard, and DeGrace ran for the 4x100m Relay Team, finishing with a time of 48.56 for fifth place.

The next meet for TWU is set for Friday and Saturday at the Flames Invite at Lee University.
