Alcala Wins Second Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- Olivia Alcala was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This is the second time this season Alcala has won the weekly award. 

Alcala helped the team go 2-0 on the week, winning both her lone single match and her two doubles match during the week. In the win against Truett McConnell University, the senior won the No. 1 doubles match 6-0, and the No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0. Alcala won her doubles match against the University of Pikeville 6-1.

This is the second weekly award for Alcala. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 30.
