Women's Tennis Makes History in NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- History was made by the women's tennis program in the announcement of the first regular season edition of the 2026 NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The team checked in at No. 3 in the rankings, marking the highest ranking in program history.

TWU garnered 279 voting points in the poll. The team was 21 points behind first place and nine points behind second place. The team was the highest-ranked team in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). 

Sitting with a 4-1 overall record and a 1-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference record, three of the team's four wins have come against teams in the poll. The team's wins are against No. 4 Southeastern University, No. 8 University of Loyola New Orleans, and No. 14 University of the Cumberlands. 

The next edition of the poll will be announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
