Brendlinger Collects NAIA Weekly Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo.- It was a double award week for Rylee Brendlinger. The senior was named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week by the national office on Tuesday.
Brendlinger helped the team win four games this week, playing over 209 minutes in the goal for the Lady Bulldogs. The senior posed 31 saves and a 52.5 save percentage while not allowing more than nine goals in any of the four wins.
Brendlinger is only the second women's lacrosse player to win a national weekly award, joining Jasmine Hickman (2017).
