Women's Golf Erase 13 Strokes at BMCU Spring Classic Finale

STARKVILLE, Miss.- The women's golf team finished their time in Mississippi on Tuesday. The team played the final round of the Blue Mountain Christian University Spring Classic. The first two rounds of the tournament, played at the Mississippi State University Club, were held on Monday.

A score of 80 helped Maisie Hassall move up the individual scoreboard to finish in a tie for 18th place with a three-round score of 246. June Greene erased seven strokes from her second-round score to move up three spots, finishing 51st with a total score of 269 after a round of 86. TWU saw Cadie Prater (90) and Ashlynn Guy (95) both erased one stroke from their previous round scores, finishing back-to-back in 58th and 59th with scores of 279 and 281, respectively, rounding out the competitors for the team in the third round.

As a team, the team removed 13 strokes from their second-round team total, finishing the third round with a total of 351 strokes. The team had a three-round total of 1,074 to finish in 12th place.

For their next tournament, the Lady Bulldogs will hit the road to play in the Klash in Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament is set to be played at Perry Park Golf Resort in Perry Park, Ky.
