Hassall Named AAC Women's Golfer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga.- In the second edition of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) weekly awards for women's golf, Maisie Hassall was named the Golfer of the Week. The conference office announced the spring edition of the award on Monday.

Hassall shot 154 over the two rounds to finish the team's spring-opening tournament, the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational, in third place. The junior shot 80 on the first day and 74 on the second day, moving five spots up the leaderboard to finish in the top three of the field. The finish helped the team finish seventh overall. 

This is the first weekly award for Hassall. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 17.
