Women's Bowling Debuts at C300 Western Shootout
Indianapolis, Ind.- The women's bowling team bowled in their first tournament of the regular season on Saturday and Sunday. The team competed at the C300 Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Ind., to open the 2023-24 season.
After the first day of the event on Saturday, the team knocked down 5,090 pins through six team games. Their total placed them in 17th place.
On the final day of the tournament, the team competed in 16 baker games. Tennessee Wesleyan ended the day with an additional 2,966 pins to their score, giving them a two-day total of 8,056 pins. The two-day total for the Lady Bulldogs gave them the same spot they occupied entering the day, 17th in the 27-team field.
Up next for the bowling team is the Mid-South Conference Greater Nashville Open on October 28-29. The tournament is set to take place in Smyrna, Tenn.
