Carpenter Named Offensive Player of the Week by AAC

WALESKA, Ga.- After a career night, Sloan Carpenter was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. The award was announced by the conference office on Monday. 

Carpenter had the career night against Johnson University, recording a career-high in both points and rebounds. The sophomore scored 18 points in the 85-75 win and collected 12 rebounds. The Cleveland, Tenn., native also had three assists and one steal on her statline for the game.

This is the first weekly award for Carpenter. The next edition will be announced on Monday, Dec. 8.
