Strong Nabs Second Consecutive AAC Weekly Award

Waleska, Ga.- For the second week in a row, Cheyenne Strong was named the Pitcher of the Week by the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The league office announced the award on Monday. This is the fourth edition of the weekly awards

In a week where the Bluffton, S.C., native went 2-0, Strong did not allow a run while on the mound for the Lady Bulldogs. In two complete games efforts consisting of 12 innings, the senior had 14 strikeouts to just two walks. Strong also only allowed two hits between the two games. 

This is the second weekly award for Strong. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 20.
