Outdoor Track and Field Programs Prepped for NAIA National Championships
Marion, Ind.- The outdoor track and field programs are set to contend for national championships this week. The programs are sending multiple student-athletes to the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The meet is being held at a different location then it usually is. The past few seasons has seen the meet be held in Gulf Shores, Ala. This season, the meet is moving to the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
Between the two teams, the programs sent 12 student-athletes to compete in five different events.
On the men's side, Roni Bailey, Ke'Andrae Campbell, Chris Harper, Cameron Williams, Jeremiah Jones, and Tevon Shuler all qualified for the 4x100m and 4x400m Relays. Shuler also qualified for the meet in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
On the women's side, Aniecia Goss, Akia Jean-Pierre, Paige Manney, Lauren Garrison, Madison Rooker, and Chaggie Bassar all qualified for the meet in the 4x100m Relay. Goss also qualified for the meet in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
