ROME, Ga.- The men's tennis team played in the championship match at the 2026 ITA NAIA Men's Team Indoor Championship on Sunday. The team fell to the Georgia Gwinnett College to finish as the runner-ups. 

The Bulldogs fell behind early as the team lost the doubles point. 

Even though the team was able to force all the singles match into three sets, the team was only able to pick up a win in the No. 3 singles. Nicolas Cortes won that match 7-5, 6-7 [8-10], 6-1.

TWU (5-2) will go on the road to play their first conference match of the season against Columbia College on Friday. The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
