Garcia Named AAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga.- For the second week in a row, a player from the men's tennis team was awarded the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the Week award. Juan Carlos Garcia took home the award. This is the sixth and final edition of the weekly award during the 2025 season.

In the team's 7-0 win against Montreat College last week that helped the Bulldogs clinch the 2025 AAC Regular Season Title, Garica finished the match 2-0. Playing in the No. 2 doubles, the junior won the match 6-2 with his doubles partner. The Elche, Spain native went on to win the No. 1 singles match by a 6-1, 6-3 score. On the season, Garcia is 8-2 in singles and 10-1 in doubles.

This is the first weekly award for Garcia.
