Volpi Takes Home Third AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- For the second week in a row, Octavio Volpi was named the Men's Tennis Player of the Week by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). This marks the third time Volpi has won the weekly award. This was the fifth and final edition of the award. 

Volpi took home the award after he helped the Bulldogs defeat No. 9 Reinhardt University 4-1 last week. The win clinched the AAC Regular Season Title for the team. In the match, the junior played in the No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles matches. The Corrientes, Argentina native won the doubles match 6-3 while winning the singles match 6-2, 6-3.

This is the third weekly award for Volpi.
