Volpi Wins Second AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- The weekly award for men's tennis was announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Monday. In the fourth edition of the award, Octavio Volpi was named the Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Volpi helped the Bulldogs go 3-0 on the week. In wins against No. 15 Union (6-1), NCAA Division II Montevallo (Ala.) (4-1), and (RV) SCAD Atlanta (5-2), the junior played in the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles spot. The Corrientes, Argentina native won all the matches he was involved with in helped the team win all three matches. 

This is the second weekly award for Volpi. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, April 8.
