Ange and Bellot Win Men's Soccer Weekly Awards

WALESKA, Ga.- The men's soccer team took home both versions of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) weekly awards on Monday. Astolfi Ange took home the Defensive Player of the Week award while Nicko Bellot was named the Offensive Player of the Week. 

Ange nabbed the defensive portion of the weekly award by helping the Bulldogs win their first gama of the season against Faulkner University. The freshman had two saves in the 2-1 win.

Offensively, Bellot scored both of the goals for Tennessee Wesleyan in the win. Bellot's first goal was the game's opening score while his game-winner came on a free-kick in 74th minute.

This is the first weekly award for both Ange and Bellot. The next edition of the weekly award will be announced on Monday, Sept. 8.
