Bradley Central senior Tanner Hicks signed scholarship papers to play soccer here at Tennessee Wesleyan College. Tanner is a hard working defender who was the Bradley Central defensive player of the year all his high school seasons.

"They are getting a good one," Bradley coach Chrissy McKinney declared after Tanner signed scholarship papers with TWC earlier this week. "He is a smart defender. He knows when to attack and when to defend," Coach McKinney stated.

Coach McKinney commented. "He's the type of player that leads by his actions. He constantly shows everyone around him what a player should be."

"I just try to keep my head in the game at all times," Tanner expressed

"I've practiced with the (TWC) squad and gone to some of their matches. I feel like I will fit in well with their style of play," said Tanner. "I also like what I see in the school."

Happy to get his man, TWC head coach Steve Lyons remarked. "He reads the game well and is pretty strong. He's the kind of player we are looking for - local with a lot of potential."
