Gasior Wins National Weekly Award

Kansas City, Mo.- Kyle Gasior added another accolade this week. Along with his Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Defensive Player of the Week award, Gasior was named the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. This was the third edition of the national weekly award.

Gasior earned the award based on his work on face-offs and ground balls. The senior won 47 of the 58 face-offs he took part in during two games this week, for a .810 face-off winning percentage. The Rocky Ridge, Md., native picked up 34 ground balls in a week where the Bulldogs went 1-1. Gasior leads the AAC in face-off wins and ground balls.
