Men's Golf Opens Spring with Ninth-Place Finish at Carey Collegiate
HATTIESBURG, Miss.- The men's golf team kicked off their spring schedule with three rounds of golf at the Carey Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The team finished in ninth place on the team scoreboard.
The highest finish on the individual scoreboard for the Bulldogs belonged to Dalton Sutton. Sutton shot the par of 71 in the first round and was one-under par in the second and third rounds to finish with a total of 211 for 13th place. Jonas Rayfield (75, 70, 71) was tied for 23rd with a total score of 216 while a score of 220 (71, 73, 76) placed Kevin Campbell in a tie for 35th place.
William Mioduski finished the tournament in a tie for 47th place after carding rounds of 81, 71, 72 for a total of 224. In a tie for 53rd place was Parker Arnold, who finished the three rounds with scores of 76, 75, 75 for a total of 226. Blake Woody's scores of 77, 74, and 77 gave him a total of 228 and a 59th-place tie.
On the team scoreboard, the Bulldogs finished with total score of 876 after team scores of 295, 288, and 293.
