Men's Golf Sees Seven Win AAC Awards

WALESKA, Ga.- The end-of-the-year awards for men's golf were announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Seven members of the team earned an award. 

Jacob Parton and Dalton Sutton were named All-AAC First Team. Sutton finished in fourth place at both the AAC Fall Preview and the AAC Championship to earn a spot on the All-AAC First Team. Parton finished 17th at the AAC Fall Preview and third at the AAC Championship to nab his spot on the All-AAC First Team.

Being named to the AAC Champions of Character Team was Josh Loveday. To be named to the Champions of Character Team, a player must exhibit the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

Tyler Harwell, Loveday, Forrest Atkins, JT McKenzie, Logan Oody, and Sutton all earned spots on the AAC All-Academic Team. To be selected to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.
