Parton Named AAC Golfer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the weekly award winner for men's golf on Monday. Jacob Parton was named the Men's Golfer of the Week in the final edition of the award. This was the 13th weekly award for 2023-24 and the eighth of the spring season.

Parton took home the award based on his performance at the Battle for the Bay. The Oak Ridge, Tenn., native finished the tournament one over after shooting 73 and 72 for the event. The senior's 145 total placed him seventh overall while helping the Bulldogs finish in second place in the team standings. 

This is the first weekly award for Parton.
