Three from Men's Golf Earn AAC Awards
Waleska, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the season awards for the sport of men's golf on Thursday. The men's golf team saw three student-athletes earn end-of-the-year awards.
Josh Loveday was named to the All-AAC Second Team. Loveday finished in a tie ninth-place at the AAC Tournament. The Etowah, Tenn., native had a 77.95 average through eight tournaments durin the 2022-23 season.
Bradley Dunkle was chosen as the team's representative to the AAC Champions of Character Team. To be named to the Champions of Character Team, a player must exhibit the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
Finding their name on the AAC All-Academic Team was Forrest Atkins and Loveday. To earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.
