Men's Bowling Finishes Tenth at McKendree Match Games

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill.- The men's bowling team recorded a top-ten finish in their final tournament of the month of November. The team finished tenth at the McKendree Match Games and had a bowler earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. The tournament was held on Saturday and Sunday in Fairview Heights, Ill. 

In the five team games, the Bulldogs finished with a total of 4,886 pins knocked down to place them in 12th place going into the baker games. The third team game saw TWU score a team game high of 1,054 pins. A score of 3,221 combined through the 16 baker games helped the Bulldogs move up a spot to 10th place, finishing two spots out of advancing to the team match play round. 

Cameron Compton was named to the All-Tournament team after finishing in fourth place. Compton finished with a total score of 1,440 pins through five games, an average of 228. 

Tennessee Wesleyan finishes the fall portion of their schedule in December, beginning with the Glenn Carlson Invitational on Dec. 19-20.
