Men's Bowling Knocks Down Pins at Bowler Southern Classic

MARIETTA, Ga.- The men's bowling team spent a weekend on the lanes in Georgia. The team competed in the Bowlero Southern Classic, a tier I event, in Marietta, Georgia. 

The tournament took place on Saturday and Sunday. At its conclusions, the Bulldogs were in eighth place out of 29 team field. TWU knocked down 9,932 pins to earn their spot on the team scoreboard. 

Four bowlers finished in the top 30 of the individual result, led by John Nunn's ninth place finish. Nunn knocked down 1,289 pins in six games. Kory Driver was 11th overall, finishing with 1,281 pins while Cameron Compton was 16th with a score of 1,259. Devean Littlejohn finished 28th, knocking down 1,215 pins.

TWU will head to Las Vegas, Nev., for their next tournament in a little over a month on Dec. 18-19.
