Shelly Wins Second AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- For the second week in a row, a member of the baseball team took home a weekly award from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). Josh Shelly was named the Player of the Week on Monday. This was the second edition of the weekly award this season.

In three wins over the weekend, Shelly went 7-10 at the dish to finish with a .700 batting average. The senior had four doubles, and a one triple to finish with a 1.300 slugging percentage. The Houma, La. native brought in 10 runs in scored six times in the three games.

This is the second weekly award for Shelly. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, Feb. 16.
