Reynolds Slugs Way to AAC Weekly Award
WALESKA, Ga.- The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the weekly awards for baseball on Monday. Kolton Reynolds took home the Player of the Week award. This was the seventh edition of the weekly award.
In four games this past week, Reynolds batted .389 and had a 1.278 slugging percentage. The Huntsville, Ark., recorded seven hits, five of which were home runs resulting in 10 RBIs. The junior hit one home run against No. 3 Georgia Gwinnett College and hit the remaining four in the two games on Saturday against Milligan University. Reynolds went 3-5 with two home runs and five RBIs to finish with a .600 batting average in the first game while going 3-4 with two home runs and three RBIs for a .750 batting average in the second game.
This is the first weekly award for Reynolds. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, April 7.
