Dixon Nabs AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- After batting .526 over five games last week, Devin Dixon was named the WinWon Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Player of the Week. The fourth edition of the weekly award was announced on Monday.

Dixon went 10-19 from the plate in the five games to finish with a .526 batting average while recording a 1.211 slugging percentage. The Phoenix, Ariz., native hit three home runs, brought in seven RBIs, and scored eight runs during the week for the Bulldogs. Dixon was also walked two times.

This is the first weekly award of the year for Dixon. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, March 17.
