Jackson Takes Home AAC Weekly Honor

WALESKA, Ga.- The first edition of the weekly awards for baseball was announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Monday. Justin Jackson was named the WinWon Pitcher of the Week by the conference.

Jackson earned the weekly honor based on his performance against Montreat College on Friday. In the start on the mound, Peyton pitched seven innings and only gave up three hits. The Naples, Fla., native struck out 10 batters in that timespan.

This is the first weekly award for Jackson. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, Feb. 24.
