Peyton Earns Third AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- For the second time in three weeks, Blake Peyton took home the conference weekly award. The pitcher was named the Pitcher of the Week by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) for the third time this season. This was the eighth edition of the weekly award. 

The senior earned the award based on his performance against Truett McConnell University. In the appearance, the San Diego, Calif., native tossed seven innings, not giving up a run and only allowing one hit while walking three batters. Peyton struck out eight batters during his time on the mound.

This is the third weekly award for Peyton this season. The next edition of the award will be announced on Monday, April 15.
