TWU Sees All 21 NAIA Athletic Programs Named Scholar Teams for First-Time Ever

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- On Monday, the NAIA announced the NAIA Scholar Teams for the 2024-25 academic year as a part of their National Awards Day, and with it, the athletics department at Tennessee Wesleyan reset a school record for the fourth straight year. TWU saw all 21 NAIA intercollegiate athletics offerings be named an NAIA Scholar Team, the first time in school history that all the programs at the university had earned the honor in the same academic year.

To be named an NAIA Scholar Team, a team must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

The teams named to earn the status of NAIA Scholar Team were:
