The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Columbia Saturday and swept the doubleheader with the Koalas; 9-1 and 10-6.
TWU took an early 4-0 lead in the top of the 3rd, extended the lead to 7-0 in the 5th and won 9-0 giving up the only run in the bottom of 7th.
Rachel Mathews was the winner in game one pitching six innings with two strikeouts and giving up 4 hits. The Lady Bulldogs had 17 hits for the game and two errors. Courtney Jackson had was 3 for 4 with two runs scored, while MaKenzie Hopkins was four for five with a stolen base.
In the second game, Hanna Manley through a complete game and had four strikeouts. The Lady Bulldogs won 10-6 with 14 hits and one error. Leading the offense was Makenzie Hopkins who was five for five with a double and Baylee Sutton who was two for four with a homerun.
