On Friday the Lady Bulldogs entered the AAC tournament as the #4 seed and overall record of 10-8 and 5-3 in AAC play. Tennessee Wesleyan faced #5 seed Bluefield College in the first match. The Lady Bulldogs took 2 out of the 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead going into singles. The Lady Bulldogs first clinched #6 singles to take a 3-1 lead, the next win from the Lady Bulldogs came from Noemi Principal the victory gave the Bulldogs a 4-1 lead. Bluefield took the #2 singles to narrow the lead to 4-2. Haruka Hirata won at #4 singles to give the Lady Bulldogs a 5-2 victory.
On Saturday the Lady Bulldogs lost a 5-2 victory to eventual AAC Champions Reinhardt University. TWC took only one doubles points, and lone singles point came at #5 singles by Junior Wendi Watson. The Lady Bulldogs finished the season with a record of 11-9. This was second best record for womens tennis in school history only second behind the 2013-2014 team that finished 12-4 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs return all singles starter for next year and with the addition of a strong recruiting class the Lady Bulldogs will be ready to build on this season.
